A charming restaurant nestled in a beautiful park setting. Hosts greeted us with sincere smiles and promptly seated us. The indoor dining area is tastefully decorated and bright with natural light. We ordered various dishes to sample the authenticity and creativity. We were thrilled with the results. The wait staff is always attentive and professional. This is one of a select few favorites where I enjoy dining solo or with family and friends. Bravo!
This was a surprise! We didn't know this restaurant had such great ambiance. We wanted a bite to eat and the food was delicious! The atmosphere was great too. Would absolutely love to go back.
Beautiful setting with idyllic views of the park. Food is beautifully presented and even more pleasing. Our waiter was so helpful and guided us through the menu - he lead us well! We started with the Greek meatballs, Melitzanosalata, octopus, and Greek fries. All delicious but the Melitzanosalata was a stand out. My halibut was lovely - in a white wine sauce and served asparagus, broccolini, and zucchini. My favorite, as always, was dessert. Our waiter had a visceral reaction when I asked about it, so I knew I had to have it and I'll so glad I did. Caramelized, flaky, and layered tastes of honey. We came here for dinner but I imagine it is a beautiful brunch spot. Will definitely be back!
This place is lovely. We came here and had such an amazing experience staff very welcoming and professional while also chatting casually with my friends. The entire menu was unique and the portions were filling.
Good food not great!! Ambiance is wonderful. Service okay not Great!! Waiter did not pay a lot of attention to our table.
3.5/5 Avli is surrounded by a beautiful landscape of hills and trees, and the large windows make it easy to take in the beauty outside. That might be the extent of what I truly liked about Avli on the Park. The pita and hummus were great, except the hummus was too salty. The lamb chop was pretty yummy, but too salty. There is a rather consistent repetition of dishes being way too salty for me to finish. I honestly enjoyed the nature of the dishes themselves, I just wish they weren't so salty.
So let's start with how beautiful this place IS!!!!! Look I'm not a huge fan of Greek food BUT, i think my life has been change and flipped upside down!!!!! IM GREEK NOW!!! HahHah!!! The service was quick and efficient. The chef even came out to make sure everything was going well for us. There was a small mishap with the bill BUT it was taken care of quickly without an hesitation!!!! We just missed the happy hour by 5 minutes! We will be back for that!!!
Good but not amazing. Positives: - great service - great ambiance - large portions - value Not so great: - food quality and taste. I really did not enjoy the zucchini chips, too unhealthy and greasy
